Povera, Ahmedabad was the first spoken word collective in the state of Gujarat, India. Being one of the co-founders, it was my job to design the artwork to create an identity for the venture. Within Povera, we hosted monthly events, poetry workshops, radio performances and had our own publication titled Blank Verse, which we curated, designed and distributed. All posters were designed in collaboration with a local artist whose artwork spoke to the theme.
